Wednesday, 7th July 2021 at 7.00pm AEDT
Are you wondering if what you're thinking or feeling is normal?
Do you want to learn strategies to help understand and manage your grief?
Are you concerned about your partner, other children or family members who are grieving?
In this online information session I'm partnering with Nathan MacArthur from Sydney Grief Counselling Services to provide sensitive and honest information about grief and offer strategies to cope.

In this session we will discuss:
-
the unique challenges experienced by parents grieving the death of a child
-
the differences between the loss of a child at birth, in childhood or in adulthood
-
impacts on couple and family relationships, including supporting siblings
-
managing difficult questions and comments (e.g. How many children do you have?)
-
strategies to cope in the first few months and in the years to come
There will be a live question and answer session.
This session is suitable for:

-
people experiencing grief and bereavement following the death of a child
-
anyone supporting someone who is grieving the death of a child
How much does it cost?

We offer tickets for this 90-minute session for the fair price of A$37.00. This includes access to the recording for 30 days.
We do not want anyone to miss out on these sessions because of their financial circumstances. A limited number of half price tickets are available by emailing wendy@thesession.com.au

Will other people be able to see me?

Can family and friends watch the session with me?

You are welcome to watch this session with as many members of your household as you would like. You do NOT have to buy additional tickets for each person who's watching on the same device. People who attended previous sessions said:

"It was so well structured, and the presenters so empathetic. I feel it covered my feelings since my son died."

"Great presenters with great presentation skills and come across as warm and caring people."
"I think it's really helpful for people that are experiencing grief to have support, and there were a few of us known to each other dialling in from separate homes. Thank you both so much for that session. It helped myself, my partner, and our friends."

This Grief Information Session will take place on Wednesday 7th July at 7pm (AEST).
