Grief Information Session
Wednesday, 2 June at 7.00pm (AEST) or rent the recording

Do you have questions about grief?

Unsure if what you're thinking or feeling is normal?

Looking for practical strategies to manage your grief or to support someone who is grieving?

To promote honest, sensitive and accessible information about grief, I have partnered with Nathan MacArthur from Sydney Grief Counselling Services to offer regular online grief

information sessions.

These can be viewed wherever you are, and with whoever you wish. Each session finishes with a live Q&A.

People attending our sessions have said:

"The subject of grief is not something that's widely taught or spoken about. I can't believe how much I learnt in that one session alone."

"It was so well structured, and the presenters so empathetic. I feel it covered my feelings since my son died."

"Grief is a huge topic to cover and the way that it was broken down made it feel digestible and understandable. The session was very informative and my wife and I found it useful and beneficial."

We will discuss a range of topics including:

  • the many impacts of grief, including secondary losses

  • managing the practical challenges of bereavement (e.g. deciding what to do with ashes and belongings)?

  • how children grieve and how to support a child who is grieving

  • the specific challenges faced after the death of a spouse, a parent, a child, a sibling, friend or other relative

  • ideas for coping with anniversaries and special occasions

  • strategies to help me cope in the days, months and years to come

  • anyone experiencing grief

  • anyone supporting someone experiencing grief

  • professionals who want to increase their knowledge or who are experiencing grief
